Description of Simax Borosilicate Glass Measuring Cup Set - Durable & Easy-to-Read Metric Measurements for Liter, Milliliter, Ounce, Sugar Grams - Drip-Free Spout - Microwave Safe - 2 Pack (32 oz & 16 oz)

MULTIPLE MARKINGS: If you’re like most people, you collect recipes from a variety of sources. Which is great, except that some call for 150 grams of flour while others tell you to pour in 6 ounces of oil, and that fantastic one from your friend in Europe gets 200 ml of water. That’s where this Simax glass measuring cup comes into the picture. It features multiple markings, so you can always get the precise measurements you need, no conversion necessary. Measures liters, ml, oz, and grams. NO SPILL SPOUT: When you are measuring ingredients, you don’t want half of it landing up on your countertop. Precision is so important in baking, and it’s impossible to get accurate measurements when your ingredients are on the counter instead of in the bowl. That’s why this Simax measuring cup is designed with a curved, V-shaped spout and a perfectly beveled rim, so your ingredients will go where you want them, when you want them, every time. End the frustrating dripping and make baking fun!. DESIGNED FOR EASY USE. Lightweight yet durable Borosilicate glass makes this breaker is EASY TO USE EVEN WHEN FULL, so you can save your energy for more important stuff than trying to lift that annoyingly heavy measurer. It also features dark, EASY-TO-READ GRADUATIONS, so you can easily see the fluid level. The large, thick handle is sturdy, durable, and easy to grasp, so you can stop worrying about accidentally dropping the glass, and the cylinder-shaped cup has a SMALL FOOTPRINT FOR EASY STORA. MADE IN EUROPE. This glass measuring cup is manufactured in the Czech Republic, so you can rest assured that you will receive a quality product that will last for years. Simax glassware does not absorb odors or flavors, and you do not need to worry about nasty chemicals making their way into your food. BOROSILICATE GLASS is heat and cold proof (up to 572° F and down to -40° F), so you can use it to measure hot ingredients without worrying about it cracking or exploding. Plus, this lab-grade glass has a high shock resistance (of course, avoid extreme temperature changes). Cup is designed to measure both liquids and powders, so there’s just one dish to clean. Microwave, oven, stove and dishwasher safe for added convenience. Made from cadmium and lead free recycled glass. Includes two breakers.

I love them, but for a CON or two.

Firstly I love Simax products, they are well designed, not heavy but not fragile either. Suggest to others who are considering buying them: 1) The smaller of the two (2 cups) gets hot like Dickens when you put something in the microwave. 2) Measurements are mostly in metric units. So if you're unfamiliar with the metric system, note that while ounces are listed, they're not divided into cups, so you'll have to do a few simple calculations each time you use these. Personally I would advise only…

Metric and imperial units. European design

You have a nice design for the measuring cup/jug. The smaller cup includes metric and imperial measurements (mL and fluid ounces) and grams for sugar and flour if you want to measure volume (similar to cups) but need a weight conversion. Sugar and flour are written in German and English. The large jug is engraved with English, French, Czech and German names for sugar and flour. Measurements are also in metric and imperial units. I like thinner glass and have used similar gauges which…

The 16 ounce measuring cup I received did not have a handle.

item Revain, #B07T77Y4XQ, there are three purchase options in the listing. Option 1: 16 oz (500 ml) measuring cup. Option 2: 32-ounce measuring cup (IL). Option 3: set, one of each. Product photos in all images of measuring cups show both sizes with handles. What I received was 32oz (1L) with handle. However, the 16 oz (500 ml) had no handle and was stored in a 32 oz measuring cup. This is a discrepancy. I sent the kit back. Although I like Simax borosilicate glass and would like to have one…

  • BOROSILICATE GLASS is heat and cold resistant (up to 572°F and down to -40°F) so you can use it to measure hot ingredients without worrying about it cracking or exploding. In addition, this laboratory glass has a high impact resistance (avoid sudden changes in temperature, of course). The mug is designed to measure both liquids and powders, so only one bowl needs to be rinsed. Microwave, oven, stove and dishwasher for added convenience. Made from cadmium and lead free recycled glass. Comes with two breakers.
