Cheap and flimsy, but good for small projects.

Cheap and weak. Nothing you can buy at the hardware store. The feathers are much weaker. However, I was able to use them for light woodwork. I also bought 24 packs to compare and they turned out to be the exact same clips. This is the exact same product as shown here: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01188ZBRY But the 24 pack from the link above is significantly cheaper per clip. Get these instead if you really need these clips because they are exactly the same.

NOT WHAT YOU ARE BUYING

This item is listed as "covered and insulated with vinyl covered grips and sponges" and although my grips were vinyl covered the sponges were wrapped in red tape. Of course, this may be good for others, but there are three things: 1. It is inaccurate/misleading about what is actually being purchased.2. They create sharp corners that can puncture and tear certain footage, especially if you're a videographer using Bounce.3. The metal doesn't hold. My advice, if something I wrote really bothers…

Excellent multi-purpose clamps for many applications.

Very good clip set. I use them for light work and it looks like they do some heavy work. Glad I got this size because of the application I'm using it for. Drape some wrap blankets over a 1 1/2 pipe for a DIY singing booth. They are excellent for this type of application and for those who need to secure a tarp over speakers in rainy situations such as music festivals you may find this good for this type of application. They are strong enough for this and prevent the tarpaulin from being blown…

Sweet Clamp!: Hand Tools

I paint, and when I sketch in the first sketch I like to keep the canvas rolled up rather than stretchered. These and other clamps (for now) hold a 24" x 36" screen on aluminum poles without losing support and with minimal sag, even when the screen is upright. inches, which allows me to use them with a thicker stem (and thus larger tarps), and the plastic grip coating provides ample grip with wet hands. So expect to either double some of these or keep them in the toolbox (3 out of 15 in 1…

Sweet Clamp!: Power & Hand Tools

I paint and when sketching in the first sketch I like to keep the canvas rolled up rather than stretcher bars. These clamps and others (so far) hold a 24" x 36" screen on aluminum poles without losing grip and with minimal play, even when the screen is held upright. 1-1/2", which allows me to use it with a thicker pole (and thus larger tarps), and the plastic grip on the handle provides ample grip with wet hands. Much thinner than expected

As a dedicated customer I understand not to expect too much from cheap products. However, even for basic usability, they are well below the minimum threshold. The dip coating on some of these clamps was cracked and fell off when the clamps arrived and fell off the others very easily. The metal is so thin that the handles bend when you open the jaws. Don't bend, but bend, as with a change of shape. The tips of the sponges are sharp and will leave marks on all but the hardest materials…

  • Electroplated and insulated vinyl coated handles and bolsters

  • Insecure
