Bought for my mom in her 70's and the overall size is great. I like the big screen and buttons. So far it seems to be working fine, we're only about a week old. I only gave it three stars because it doesn't have a backlight, which I should have researched before buying. The screen is a little dark if you don't have a good light source. All in all, if you know that, I think this is a great handheld game for someone older. But I think additional screen lighting would be useful. We're leaving this
