Meguiars D14901 Interior Detailer Gallon Review

I bought this product because I have used it in the past. I was completely disappointed with how my dashboard and other items turned out. It leaves no shine or any sign that I've even used it. What a waste!

I love this interior designer and it's a great price. What I like in a nutshell: - Cleans various surfaces well, including screens - Polishes clean without much effort - Smells fresh and clean; does not weigh down - leaves a matt surface; looks like a new clean car; not greasy

I have used dozens of interior cleaners over the years and recently decided to buy in larger quantities. The price was right and of course the Meguiar name inspires confidence. Sure, the product cleans well and doesn't leave an oily residue, which I hate, but it smells a bit like vinegar, which I don't like. I'll probably go back to my old cleaner, which comes in a red bottle and starts with an "L".

I opened the box and the gallon jug was missing the plastic screw cap. There is only a silver seal on the spout, which has to be torn off to pour the liquid out of the jug. I have no way of sealing the jar without a lid. I can't believe this item was packaged and shipped like this. You can see it as clearly as the day the reusable cap was missing. I think this is just another example of employees not caring about doing their jobs satisfactorily.

Do not buy USE WATER from pictures b4 I started when I used the product and after. why waste money. DOES NOT give it a fresh, detailed look. The charging mat is 4 years old but hardly used. I like Meguiar's products but not this one. I followed the instructions 100% as stated. Water NO GLOSS NO SHINE can achieve the same results. I spray directly onto the surface and onto the microfiber with excess product. Youtube reviews, other hymns of praise are completely false and should not be trusted…

I've always used the express trim on my cars and have been happy with it. Armorall seems too shiny and I don't like the smell. This is much better and gives a transparent and matte finish and smells better. I'm just not sure if this actually protects your interiors from UV/sun damage as both of our cars are always parked in the garage and have never been exposed to the sun unless they've been on the road. It's a lot better than buying broken Meguiars aerosol cans at Walmart, and it's cheaper…

I love meg's detailer products but was very disappointed with this product. I needed a quick one step interior cleaning solution or a quick wash but I don't think this is the one. I love these car care products. They work as advertised and by buying gallon tanks you can save money and get better products than the smaller atomizer products you buy at auto parts stores. The scents are pleasant and you can tell they were made to do what they advertise. Meguiars is a great company and if you are serious about taking care of your car you can't go wrong.
