According to Meguiar's, Ultimate Protectant is more or less the same as Ultimate Black, despite what the product description states otherwise. They use a very similar water based polymer formula and you can use them interchangeably. UP is available in a spray format for those who prefer interior spray, while UB has a higher gloss than UP so it's a matter of personal preference for application method and gloss level.
