Meguiar's Ultimate Protectant shines in comparison to Ultimate Interior Detailer. So you can use Ultimate Protectant on tires as well as other trims on your vehicle. Unfortunately, both Ultimate Protectant and Ultimate Interior Detailer are short-lived. You must thoroughly clean the surface to be treated before applying these Meguiar protective products. often have to be reapplied (after each trip). Unless you drive an Uber or Lyft and don't touch your vinyl and rubber a lot, Meguiar products look great and I'm sure they will protect your vinyl and rubber products from premature deterioration from UV rays. . I've also noticed that Meguiar products attract a lot of dust. Finally, the atomizer on the Ultimate Protectant bottle didn't work when I received it, making the product unusable for me. I contacted Meguiar customer service and they allowed a "one time" replacement. I appreciate Meguiar supporting their products. I have been their customer for a very long time and love most of the products they make. Since these two products are ineffective, I looked for another product to protect the interior of my car. I found Protect All-Surface Care - Cleaner/Wax/Polisher/Protector - Internal and External Use - 32oz 62032 to offer much better and lasting protection. The Protect All product is also much more versatile. I still like some of Meguiar's other products, but their Ultimate Protectant is just a waste of money.
