I love the Meguiar pads

I was very impressed with this finishing pad. I usually use Lake Country foam pads for finishing, but I wanted to try these and they did the job perfectly. The only thing I didn't like was that after a few uses it started cracking in the middle of the pad. B. an indentation of about 3 inches.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • -

replicas!? Why black foam and not red?

I usually like these pads but they seemed different, even my Rupes lhr15 behaved differently with this pad! The hook and loop didn't hold up well so blowing out the lining was PITA. Then I found that the foam between the velcro and the microfiber part was black and the ones I get are usually red so I don't know if they are other pads or something but I wouldn't take them again.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Your hand will thank you for using this

Completing my wax and glaze project was very easy. Polished my car to a high gloss. Nobody will suspect that the car is more than 10 years old. Of course, a lot depends on how well you've taken care of your car over the years. But this pad, along with the right products and other foam applicators, will make any car look better. Use a brush or towel to keep the pad clean while buffing and you will be very happy with the results.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some difficulties

The benefits just don't outweigh the effectiveness of a good foam pad

Anyhow, it works decently. It's just a nuisance to clean it every few work areas because even with proper use it gets so clogged with product and pea-sized blobs of polish. I used compressed air to blow out the excess product. The benefits just don't outweigh the performance of a good foam pad. Also, don't wash them in the washing machine if you want them to last a long time. Use a good microfiber/foam sponge cleaner. The washing machine will delaminate the lining after 2-4 washes.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Clarity

Works great with "Restrictions "

These buffs work as they should, I mostly use them as a finishing buff, I've used wool and MF buffs for buffing and they do just fine on my task Work I feel their benefits over a great foam pad aren't worth it to me. The reason is that they are much more difficult to care for and keep "healthy". So I've decided to only use it on certain car finishes where it might take a little longer to remove swirls or holograms with a one-step corrective stain and they're great for that. But I do feel that…

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive
