Wow! This lens will not disappoint you. I wasn't sure what to expect from this lens as I didn't see many reviews. My first impression is what a beautiful glass! The lens is quite large and doesn't feel cheap. The focus ring, aperture ring and overall lens are well put together. I took it to play around and the picture is clear. I like that there is no vignetting on my camera (aps-c sensor) and I get a very wide angle of view. I also like that I can detach the lens hood (which my other fisheye…

I fell in love. I just love the artistic possibilities it adds.

I originally thought it was just a nice "cheap" lens to add to my collection. Wow. i fell in love with him I just love the artistic possibilities it adds to my arsenal. :) Because it's a manual focus lens. It takes a little extra work to set up the lighting and such. I noticed that the center focus is actually pretty sharp. but is a bit frayed at the edges. but not too much. I have yet to try this lens on a tripod so it might just be my shaky hands. But I believe all fisheyes have this problem…

An excellent lens for its price. Have fun.

Some photos of Fisheye Meike 8mm f3.5. I made some adjustments in Photoshop. I played around and saw what I could do with the lens and the effects it gave me. Overall, I'm impressed with the ease of use and the sharpness of the lens. They were all shot with a Canon SL1 18MP DSLR. I did not correct the lens distortion. I see serious joy with this lens. It should be remembered that this is a manual lens. If you're used to handheld photography, you won't have any problems and you'll be happy with…

Good glass at a good price

This is my first fisheye lens so I didn't know what to expect other than fun shooting. I'll admit that the first few shots were interesting to me as I was used to 50mm, but I quickly realized that the creative possibilities with this lens could be far off. I decided to learn macro photography and took it with me to work on one of my trips. Most of the cockpit shots were taken at f3.5 while the landscape shots were taken at f22. I liked the feel of the lens. The build quality seemed solid. The…
