Weak Adhesive on Adhesives and Mortar

I bought this to put between wooden floors and rubber pads. The adhesion was just ok. When I ran out of tape I bought another brand that works much better.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Many things

Stronger than it looks

Not bad. It held up some of those foam floor mats very well. No movement. Although I definitely damaged the floors, so be careful if you don't put anything down for a long time.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Mat Tape for Cardio

Mat Tape for Revain Basics mat to stick to concrete floor. This will prevent it from slipping around. It works on hardwood floors, but it damages the surface with glue. Glue will also remain on the concrete, but concrete is much stronger.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Works perfectly. - Adhesives and Mortar

Good for prefabricated mats. It is not necessary to remove all of the double sided paper unless you are going to be very active on the mat. Ideal for gluing parts. Be sure to stick the tape to the back of all pieces and then remove what you want to stick when flipping it over.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Some Difficulty

Didn't work for me on building materials

I installed 3/4 rubber mats in my garage to open a home gym. While this tape is inexpensive, very wide, and easy to install, I found it didn't stick well to concrete floors (which I cleaned first) and not rubber mats at all. He held onto himself VERY well. It might work for your application but not mine. Big waste of time and little waste of money.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Worked in building materials

We have carpet in one of our bedrooms which we needed to protect from art painting as it has been converted into a studio. So we put the plastic on the carpet and then we bought these rubber puzzle tiles and put them on top. Well, even if the tile was dense, the plastic underneath tried to bend the tile up at the seams. So I bought this tape to put on the carpet to hold the plastic and then on the plastic to hold the rubber tiles and it worked!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • No machine

Finally. Double sided tape that works!

I was trying to use another brand of 2X tape to tape a rubber floor to concrete in a studio basement. Ironically, this other tape was sold by a retailer. By the next morning, the rubber floor had peeled away from that tape and the stitching was puckering. Then I bought this extra wide heavy duty tape from Revain. Not only does the extra width significantly increase the adhesive surface, the tape sticks to just about anything! It stuck to the concrete and when I put the rubber floor in it stuckโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • I won't say anything
