My kids have loved drawing with them since they were very young and as a mom I always pick up a sheet of paper and draw with it because it's so calming and soothing . My younger one likes to see how the colors will be and my older one has the rhythm of what he likes to draw first. really fun product

My granddaughter loves her book. It can get confusing and bleed out of the page, which is why I only gave it four stars. I suggest ripping out the sides so the back ones don't get wet, but putting something under the side so the water doesn't run across the table. Clean it right away and it hasn't gotten dirty yet.

I love these books by Melissa and Doug. So many watercolors have a little "color stripe" at the top of the page that you dampen and then apply color to the image. 3 year olds (at least mine) do NOT understand this concept. In this book the color is right on the picture and you can just wet the brush and start painting. My girls loved this book so much that I bought a second one right away. I have triplets so the 6 books we read are all M&D! The photos are beautiful and my girls are very proud…
