🐮 Melissa & Doug K's Kids Musical Farmyard Cube: An Educational Baby Toy Review

This toy is larger than expected, beautiful and bright, with cute pictures. It's light enough that our little one can move it by himself. Each side of the cube plays different animal sounds, but some buttons are hard to find in soft material. It takes adult finger strength to feel it. Our 4 month old son doesn't seem to care but it wouldn't be nice if your child was older and knew he wasn't working or gets upset easily.

After reading mixed reviews I decided to take a chance and buy this activity cube for my little daughter. I have to say I'm so glad I did! My daughter absolutely LOVES it! She was hooked when she saw him and didn't want to let him go. Sounds pretty bad, but overall it's a good buy. I got it on the super sale so that's the only reason I can justify keeping it with bad animal sounds. Rschunimagu. The rest of the aspects are great! It's colorful and all touch parts work as expected. :)

The biggest downside to this toy is the noise it makes. Animal sounds don't sound like animals (more specifically, what we say sounds like animals - croaking, mooing, etc.). They're actually pretty scary but luckily a 6 month old doesn't know what it's like to be scared. The music is weird too. This product is ok. It's true, a picture with bright colors and a few objects for the baby to look at, but the sounds are very bad. They come out of a speaker inside the plush cube and are muted, which I understand, but the sounds are borderline intimidating and barely noticeable. I am a caregiver with 20 years experience and very used to toys that make noise but this one is too loud. I love Melissa and Doug's toys. I found them to be of exceptional quality. Like their other toys, this is a great design with great features for a child BUT to hear animal sounds you also need to be listening to music. - I find both too loud. I got this for my son a few months ago and it's quite messy - the sounds made when the kid presses on the characters nose can best be described as easily be described as demonic. Our little guy isn't scared of anything (yet), but when he started playing with it and hearing the sounds, he was scared.
