Pen stopped working frequently

Received this as an airplane activity for my 2.5 year old. We were disappointed when the pen stopped working after 5 minutes of use. There was water in it, it just needed to be reabsorbed I think. My child squeezed very hard as this worked less well which may have been part of the problem but I would expect a toy for young children to handle this better. Otherwise a fun toy that uses water to open hidden pictures. The water dries quickly and the images disappear. So when you're done with all…

Great for Kids: Watercolor Kits

This was a great activity that kept my son entertained for a long time. I love that you can take this activity with you anywhere, especially in the car and at the doctor's office. Since this pandemic, my son has become much more involved with electronics. I got this so he could take a break from electronics and luckily it worked. He really enjoyed it and used it for hours. This activity also promotes the development of fine motor skills. My son loves water toys so this toy was perfect. I also…

The quality was great, just what you would expect from Melissa &.

I bought this for my 18 month old son to keep him entertained in flight. The quality was great, just what you would expect from a Melissa & Doug product. This thing is great for when you're on the go, it doesn't take up much space at all. The recommended age is 3 years and older, my son is half my age and was very good at holding a brush for painting. I didn't even realize it was reusable until I came back and saw all the colors on the pages were white again. The tassel leaked water all over…

New book water wow ocean!

Water Wow books have entertained my 4 year old on car trips since he was 2 years old. If he pushes too hard, they'll eventually scratch, but he'll use them anyway. We haven't thrown one away because it's too badly scratched. This underwater book is new from M&D and my son loves the sea so it was very well received. In fact, I think it might be something we need to buy back since he only wants it now and not the others. :P Water Wow books don't make a mess, they're great for a car or plane. Now…

Everyone thinks their kid is smart.

Great for travel and very easy to use! I would recommend buying this as a gift for kids! My son is less than two years old and outwitted it in less than 24 hours. Here's how it works: I had to clean the kitchen and make dinner, in the meantime I gave him this to play with and see how he did it. I noticed he seemed awfully quiet, so I turn around and see him with a "marker" in his mouth. (Drinks water from it.) After telling him many times to color his coloring book and he wasn't listening, he…

Fun for baby and mom!

My 2 year old keeps asking if he wants to play with this Water Wow art book. The water pen/brush fills with about 30ml of water, which means it's no disaster if a curious child unscrews it. My son loves to draw water on the pages and he asked me to join in too, which is surprisingly good fun. The page dries up after playing about an hour later when the scene fades out. Applying it roughly to the surface of the page with a brush may cause slight scratching, but it is minimal. It can be a little…

Great fun! good for crafts

We started getting water boards when my daughter was 1.5 years old (I think) and she loved the magic of the colorful image that appeared when she moved the handle. Now that she is almost 3 years old, she loves finding hidden secrets with her water pen. They all have a list of "things to find" that she likes to follow, like 3 flamingos etc. I love the pen itself, it's like drawing with water, not like a marker like some of the others. It also makes coloring the whole picture much easier, but…
