Love the Water Wow series

I have several of these books and my almost 2 year old loves them. I introduced her to her when she was about 20 months old for a long trip. They kept her busy for hours. This is a great alternative to coloring books and crayons for a number of reasons. First, it simply uses water and dries quickly, allowing the child to keep "painting” for hours. Second, if your kid is too young to trust crayons on a car ride, then this works great (my kid was still eating crayons when we went on the car…

We personally love "Water Magic " by Galt

My child plays with water coloring books (no mess, has been 2 years and now 3) He's only a year old from this. We personally like "Water Magic" by Galt. But Melissa and Doug did a good job. For comparison: M&D: The brush resembles a brush, but is much thicker than the thick handle on the back. Because it holds water. Made from high quality plastic. Galt: The brush is like a small sturdy pen: No leaking, hard to break when a child drops it M&D: Drawing books: Good quality, water dries quickly…

Fantastic gift/toy. One of my favourites!

Okay, my son has already destroyed this book. Yes. That is a good thing! I'm by no means saying it's cheaply made or easy to break, it's not! My son has been very restless for 2 years. Yes it is for ages 3+ but I think it is a great product to help kids learn agility. The first day I received the book, he used it 4 times. That means he used it 4 times from 3pm to 8pm! That is much! He likes that he can move the brush freely and draw on each side. He also likes that it's like a spreadsheet so he

Great travel toy for little ones!

Water Wow has quickly become my 2.5 year old's favorite thing to do at church, in restaurants and when travelling. He had never had much to do with painting, so I wasn't sure how he would react to that. It turns out he likes it. His small hands learned to use the "brush" without any effort, and just one filling of the device allowed endless playing with it - it's so nice not to refill it regularly, otherwise I use it on the go. There are only four "pages" in the book, which is my only complaint

THE BEST "magic " coloring pages!

Water Wow notebooks from Melissa & Doug are the best! They are of course for my children, but I love them myself. It's just a lot of fun to paint with water and bring out the colors in the picture. Then wait for it to dry and start over! He entertains for hours! And this is a great "church" book. Keeps kids calm without mess! In fact, we received our first of these water books as a gift. from another manufacturer. We loved this book so much that I started looking for more. That's where I found…

  • Great value for money

Great for toddlers

I LOVE these coloring books! I can't stress enough how wonderful these books are. We have 2 year old twins and they love to "paint" with them almost every day. We have 6 books available and it's great to have more than one because once they finish one book they can work on another while the first one dries (we leave them on the page with the pages slightly open and they dry fairly quickly). If there are 6 books, we can swap them and each child can color in different books almost continuously…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Entertains my boyfriend all day long

Could there be a better travel product to entertain a late toddler? I have yet to discover something as beloved and intriguing as the Water Wow coloring book series. We have four of these and my son just can't get enough of them. He squeals with delight as we pull out a plain plastic pen and his book. A book about vehicles is as good as anything else. Basically, the concept is simple: run a brush filled with water over the page to highlight the colors. It is so easy. No fuss, no ink, no special
