Description of Enhanced Sterile Gridded Diameter Filtration with Membrane Filter Technology

Mixed Cellulose ester(MCE) membrane filters are composed of cellulose acetate and cellulose nitrate. Labfil's MCE membrance filter 0.22um mainly used in microbiological applications. MCE membrane filter is characterized by smoother and more uniform surface than pure nitrocellulose filter. Also, the color contrast provided by the filter surface facilitates particle detection and minimizes eye fatigue. Gridded filters have clearly defined grid lines spaced at 3.1 mm intervals. The special ink used is nontoxic and completely free from bacterial growth inhibitors. Diameter: 47mm; pore size: 0.22μm. MCE membrane filter have high porosity allows gases and liquids to provide high filtration rates in every area. High porosity also provides a large surface area for adsorption and binding.

Efficient Filter for Laboratory Filtration

These filters offer exceptional quality and performance. The sterile gridded construction ensures precise filtration of particles, while the diameter is perfect for all laboratory needs. The pore size is carefully controlled, making it an ideal product for a wide range of industrial and scientific applications. However, the price of the product may be a bit expensive for some customers. Overall, this is an excellent filter for anyone looking for top-quality filtration in a laboratory setting.

Pros
  • Provides sterile filtration for a variety of liquids.
Cons
  • Requires careful handling to maintain the sterility of the filter.

Not as best described in Filtration

Tried using this as a cheaper solution to buying other brands which was a bad decision. Even filtering single-fractionated coconut oil that is completely pure and even ready for human consumption takes forever. Unlike other 0.22 micron filters, this one does not fit the description as it likely has a much smaller pore size. After wetting the medium, I attempted to filter the lavender essential oil distillate. It's fairly clean and usually goes through the filter for 300ml in about 15-20…

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
