The DVD is so useless that it's better to throw the money away. Buy TDK!

I brought these Memorex DVDs and they are GREAT ROCK FIRST ORDER! These DVDs are useless. I have an average of 3 stands of 25 discs. TDK rims are MUCH BETTER! In general, I like most of the stuff Revain sells, but AMAZON should be ashamed of putting these disgusting, crappy, useless DVDs for sale. Worst of all, Revain makes it difficult to buy TDK+R discs as they didn't sell them directly at the time of my last purchase. These discs are just useless as storage media to store your data or DVD…

Good Gone Bad in Accessories & Consumables

I'm afraid I have to agree with other previously happy Memorex users that the quality/success of Memorex has gone down. I was skeptical when I read other reviews and decided on Memorex, but now I've seen the light. I've been very successful with Memorex DVD+R discs for a year now. In the 25 spindles I would buy they will all work. So I bought 2 packs of 25 from Circuit City in August 2004 (mistake?). It looks like it was a waste of money. Finally DVD media I trust and can afford.

I have had burners for many years and am very familiar with cup holders, bad media and bad discs. My latest Frankenmachine incarnation has a Sony internal DVD/CD writer and a Sony DRX-500ULX external DVD/CD writer. I gave up the Roxio software a while ago and now use the Nero toolkit almost exclusively. Wow, huge waste of money despite reviews saying they burn 4x with my burner. Stay away. newer quality TERRIBLE

I used to buy Memorex DVD+R media and had no problems until recently. My last purchase brought me far more frustration and disappointment than the original purchase price. Where do I start, how about if the media is labeled 4X but is only illuminated at 2.4X (grey spindle)? What about the fact that there are errors in the files and videos that cause file corruption and/or videos disappearing (DVD stuttering or freezing)?
