I'm afraid I have to agree with other previously happy Memorex users that the quality/success of Memorex has gone down. I was skeptical when I read other reviews and decided on Memorex, but now I've seen the light. I've been very successful with Memorex DVD+R discs for a year now. In the 25 spindles I would buy they will all work. So I bought 2 packs of 25 from Circuit City in August 2004 (mistake?). It looks like it was a waste of money. I was just trying to burn a copy of something and ended up ruining 4 discs in a row. I convinced myself it was my hardware or software or whatever. Then I remembered that someone had given me a blank Sony DVD-R and I thought what the heck let me try. It entered the SONY hard drive and copied without any problem. This was the last drop in my loyalty to Memorex. From a 25 pack I had about 10 left, but 6 of the 15 I used had to be thrown away. Not a very good success rate. Goodbye memorex.
