Description of Black Memphis Shades (MEM7031) Batwing Fairing for Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Victory and Yamaha Models

Features clean aerodynamic shape. Inner fairing structure is black ABS. Fairing outer shell is opaque black Lucite with a class A finish that looks great as is, or can easily be painted. Fairing is predrilled and fitted with push-out hole plugs for easy wind deflector installation. Windshields are available in four height and seven translucent color options. Optional wind deflectors for increased downward airflow, windshield tri-pouch for storage and fairing trims for style are also available. Now you can add an optional sound system to the Batwing Fairing with Hog tunes' new speaker system. Batwing Fairing is not compatible with any other fairing windshields, wind deflectors or accessories.

Just Received Batwing

Whilst I have not installed it yet upon closer inspection I did not find any flaws in the fit and finish. I want it painted red to match my bike. But overall I can't wait to install it today.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Changed the look of my bike.

Looks good on my bike. Gives my Yamaha Roadster a completely different look. A windshield is of course mandatory. The only complaint is that I wish there were more music options than Hogtunes. So far no problems. Be sure to order the brackets as they do not come with the fairing.

looks great! Fits perfectly

This has been the best purchase for my bike so far. It looks great and is very easy to put on. Fits perfectly! And it looks like it came from a bike store! And you can't beat the price. The only thing I want to do is measure the height of the clear windshield correctly because the first one I got was a few inches lower.

Ideal for windscreens

I had this on my Honda VTX 1800C. I had to replace the original and was afraid to buy anything 15 years after the original cracked (my fault). I called Memphis Shades - they said check the part number - I reordered the part from them and it fits the old windshield perfectly and fits perfectly. I would take a word of caution to ensure the part number is correct if replacing an old part because the part didn't look "exactly" like my old fender, but when the part arrived it was Part. So I'm very…

The installation took longer than it should.

Well, I'm not quite sure what to say about that. It's a little thinner than I expected, but still very durable to ride: It's eliminated much of the rattling I got from my old windshield, and also blocks MUCH more wind: I can now do 55mph fairly comfortably without it Drive glasses if I want (with a high windshield). Installation wasn't terribly difficult, but it certainly requires a small wrench: if the idea of undoing a few screws bothers you, you'll want to install this for you (although, to…
