When I opened these I was initially concerned about comfort. They felt rather stiff in my hands and the toe thong looked rough. Boy I was surprised when I put them on. First, and highly important to me, is the toe thong. My feet slide in well and have no rough feel or rubbing. The sole is firm but very comfortably supportive. These flip flops are very comfortable. They are well made and are definitely not light weight. My husband normally wears a size 12 and that’s what we got and it fit perfectly. When you just try them on, you may think they are too small but after a couple wears they do stretch out a bit. Very comfortable, sturdy flip flops.

**Update**The seller reached out to help with the sizing issue. They were kind enough to send a replacement, unfortunately, the new sandal had the same fit. My hubby said these are a little tight but I think with wearing them in they will loosen up! Also They are about 1/2 a size to small! But they don’t have half sizes so I would suggest going whole size up from your original shoe size that you order! But a pretty nice shoe other than that

These sandals are kinda a stiff and not very flexible;). They look great but make his feet sweat. The straps are really heavy so should wear great and maybe after a few wearing they will be more flexible which will make them a lot more comfortable too;). They did seem to run true to size.
