I am a relatively small male - 5ft 8in - with a normal head size and short hair and although I could wear a hat it was uncomfortably tight not only in the group but also in the main cover. It felt like trying to put on a big baby hat. I returned it. It's "one size".

I see reviews that the size is too small. I have a shaved head, of course. But it fits perfectly. My guess is that if a person has a huge "Mellon" then maybe most hats don't fit them! The material and workmanship of this hat are excellent! I'm glad I bought this!

The cap is waterproof but too small. The band at the back of the hat is useless as the hat is sewn in such a way that it cannot stretch to the width of the band.

Overpriced that's why I gave it a star but everything else about the hat is great. I wore it during a rainstorm and with the hat pulled low I was able to move without getting the rain in my eyes. It definitely kept my head dry and the fabric was able to dry very quickly when left hanging. The adjustment could be better, I would prefer velcro as I see you accidentally tightened and tore the adjustment on the back. However, I prefer a beanie over a waterproof hood, which tends to block your field
