Coat was recently purchased and had only one chance to wear it. Went for a one hour walk on an overcast day when temperature was 33 degrees (F) with a slight wind and coat kept me much too warm. Coat is light weight and comfortable. Will not be able to give a good test until next winter when temperature gets into single digits.

This is an outstanding coat. The versatility of an inner down jacket coupled with an outer water-repellent hooded shell is excellent. Serving me perfectly during my weekly business travels to Ohio, where 30-degree swings in a day are normal, in late Fall. Both pieces are dressy enough for business casual outerwear. This is a man' styling. Not for a kid. Very well constructed and arrived with all zipper pulls protectively wrapped. Amazing value . could sell for much more.UPDATE: Just discovered…

this is an absolutely great item, although I have only worn it a few times. Fit is good. Only problem is that the velcro closure on the sleeve does not fit properly and I will have to add an extension to be able to close the sleeve securely. This Item arrived as stated, within a few days of ordering, which was much quicker than the others had indicated.

Well insulated, including the hood. It falls a couple inches below the natural waist, so additional measures are needed to keep the legs warm especially if the wind is blowing. I used this coat in southwestern Pennsylvania during January and February. It did not disappoint.

Good looking, well made and had some nice features, but I sent it back because it was too heavy and bulky. Some individuals may find the coat too stylish or dressy for their liking!

Bought for a trip to Yellowknife, Canada. Jacket kept me very warm in -25F with a thermal and flannel underneath. It got up to 0-5F during the day and I was fine walking around with the jacket unzipped. Overall excellent value IMO!

The inside of the outer most shell ripped withing the first 3 months as the seams. The jacket was nice and warm, with breathable material, but its pretty much useless now with the seam ripping. I would invest the money in a higher quality coat instead of paying the same amount for this one.
