These boots are comfortable and relatively warm with proper socks. However, if any snow gets on the tongue, forget it. It will seep through.Then you have cold, wet tootsies.

I bought these for short walks from home to neighborhood places to shop and walks with my dog in the neighborhood. They're still new but my only challenge is they are a bit heavier than I expected and require more of an effort in walking in them which I'm adjusting to (still recovering from an injury I sustained 5+ years ago. The construction and materials are very good. The fur lining is ok, but isn’t woven tight enough to trap in warm air created by your body heat. The fur reminds me of a werewolf Halloween costume, sort of material. I bought these boots for harsh North Dakota winters -40+F, but my feet are still cold in the 20s. The boot leather should be twice as thick, and fur needs to be denser.

Not only are these boots comfortable and warm, but they provide great traction in the ice and snow. A great price too. I'm very happy with my purchase!
