You will get a little (like hair) after buying more than 1 pair. I usually buy a size 12 just in case, but some 11.5 inches fit me perfectly and this is one of those shoes. So comfortable and durable I can't say enough about these shoes. Comfortable all day. I wouldn't hesitate to take a long walk or a conference room in it.

I didn't like the sole on the shoes. I sent them back. They were really beautiful to look at. I bought boat-soled moccasins, which I usually wear instead.

This is a great pair of shoes I will be ordering in other colors BUT it starts out tight and expands over time. As such, the first few weeks of wear are always difficult before it stretches enough to feel right. The history of these shoes shows that they will stay ok for quite a while before they feel too lost, especially when the shoes are so worn that I have to order another pair anyway. When purchasing such a pair, the buyer should pay attention to the stretch factor.

I have these other styles so I know what I'm buying is a great lightweight casual shoe with shorts or pants, order a half size smaller than you normally wear. You don't wear them with socks either - at least I wouldn't. They are comfortable for day and night. You don't buy them as casual loafers - they're meant to make an outfit stand out. I have flat feet and arches - while they are "good," they aren't meant for support.

I used to order Mephistos but for some reason these loafers seem to be small. As a result, the stitching is unraveling after just half a dozen uses. However, at this price point, the shoe shouldn't fall apart. Too bad because the style is good.

Mephistos are a great present for my family. My son has been so gifted for years and loves the laceless style. Baduards are beautiful and elegant. The blue and brown version is perfect for warm weather.
