I bought the same size as the previous pair. The only difference was the color. They are much denser than the first pair. Strange because I have a boat boot with the same type of sole/training shoe and it fits great.

These are great shoes. The quality is extremely high. These would be my shoes for the office and also for going out to friends (because the shoes are easy to put on and take off and look great). The quality of the leather is first class. After 1 year of use they are still new. The quality is much higher than Allen Edmonds.

These shoes start well, look great and can be left out in the rain without ruining them. I bought my first pair while walking around Venice, Italy to replace poor quality shoes that fell apart during my trip. It seemed like a lot of money back then, but it worked great. ADDENDUM: Shoes arrived in size 10. Looks great. I wore it right out of the box all day. Winner! I love this shoe. Something between Topsiders and Cordoba slippers at the same time. It will be perfect when I want to step up from pumps or down from loafers. My wife thought they looked great. The only problem is the size. The shoes are very well made. Expensive but very well made. But I bought two other Mephisto shoes in the same size that fit perfectly; This one came much larger than others of the same size. It's much wider than usual. If I can't find a friend with the same foot size, it's useless. Watch after.

At first I thought a size 10 was a little big, but after wearing them around the house I decided a size under 91/2 would be too small.
