This yarn exceeded my expectations. It's very, very soft, fluffy and strong, but not heavy. It also has a wonderful depth of color which I really appreciate. I really enjoyed making this mini hippo 🦛 I hope it looks at least a little decent to you! I have friends who love hippos and this is for them! I didn't have a pattern, I made this one up, and the tail is something I'm not sure about 🤷🏻‍♀️If you have any ideas I'd love to hear them.

I'm just learning to felt with merino wool and have found that merino wool is one of the best and easiest felts to make. That's right, this wool is wonderful!
