There are some notable design limitations to consider before purchasing.

I'll start with the build quality. This is doubtful. I have ordered two. One came with an open crack between the two halves of the plastic case due to improper assembly of the device. Luckily I was able to disassemble and reassemble it. It's worth noting that there are no rubber grommets or other seals to prevent water from entering the main body. The two rubber caps that were black in the product photos are actually yellow. They are very flexible and appear to provide a good seal when inserted

Pros
  • Schedule & Timer Setup: Schedule each outlet to turn on and off automatically. You can prepare your schedule in advance and remember to unplug outside to reduce e-waste and protect the environment. Supports sunrise and sunset setting.

! USELESS ! Look for an alternative.

either me or these outlets are a waste of money. I have 2 devices. The router has restarted due to an error. Both devices showed as No Response in the Home app. I removed one of the devices from the Home app and I don't want to add it anymore. I restarted the device, I see it flashing amber/green. I have an iPhone 2.4 etc. The device is connected to the network. I can see it on the router page but I can't add it to Home anymore. Throws an unknown error. I've tried all sorts of router network…

No luck setting up

I've noticed that some customers have complained about the difficulty setting up this product, but decided to take a chance as I'm quite tech savvy. So far I've spent about 6 hours trying to get it working with no success. My router transmits WiFi on 2.4 GHz (and only 2.4 GHz) and I'm using iOS 14.4 according to the manufacturer's requirements. I started by following the exact instructions that came with the product, but I couldn't get Apple Home to install the device (unable to connect). I…

Easy to set up, works well with Apple Homekit

It took me about seven minutes to set up this system to control some outdoor lights. You use your smartphone for setup. The two outputs are individually adjustable and offer more performance for the money. Both can be activated manually via a smartphone app or via a home automation platform. We're an Apple family, so I used my iPhone to set it up and connect it to my HomeKit hub at home (Apple TV) for secure internet access and programming features. . The Apple Homekit allowed me to set up an…
