Simple, efficient, and Google integration

I wanted to find a cheap, efficient smart plug without installing an entire outlet, and it fit the bill. Also, these rectangular plugs allow you to use both sockets on the outlet instead of just one. The Meross app was simple, no frills but effective, and check-in was quick. The integration of Google services also works great. Works fine for two weeks, will report problems here if they break.

The current best WiFi/Alexa hotspots.

I already have 3 different brands and tried 4 brands before buying this one. All of them. Work. However, I have to say that they "set up" easier, quicker, and hassle-free than anything I've tried before. All 4 were built, completed and commissioned in less than 5 minutes. I spent more time on this PER edition and had to start on others several times. They didn't have to vouch for longevity, but they work and "set up" like a dream.

So easy - I programmed my house in less than 15 minutes.

I wanted to program the lights in my house with an Echo device and be able to turn the lights on and off from anywhere since I leave my dogs alone, it often gets dark before I go home come and I need to turn on their lights and/or television to keep them company. Those tricks! It's that simple - I'm grandma, I read the instructions, downloaded the app and it all worked in about 15 minutes. You will receive a set of 4 single or double plugs - as I use all the lights on the tables and the TVโ€ฆ

They didn't automatically connect to my network after a power outage

I would give 5 stars but if the power goes out the plugs reset before the modem. If the plug is reset before the modem, it will not connect to the network. My modem is brand new and it takes about 3 minutes to reconnect after power is restored. As a result, surebets are not available for the Alex or Meross apps. I have to unplug and plug each one back in for it to connect to wifi. They claim to reconnect automatically but I don't have 10 twice. I've lost power here in the Northeast two days inโ€ฆ

Terrible software for garbage.

Another cheap junk product from Revain. First, the app that requires it is terrible. It's fine if you want to use Google or Alexa. That is, if you can get them to work. Half the time trying to set up the device, the app freezes when switching Wi-Fi connections. Then when you magically pass that part. Do not use a WiFi password that is longer than 6 characters, as the device will then require a firmware update that actually does not exist. I say this because it claims to update the firmware andโ€ฆ

If Apple HomeKit functionality is optional, look no further.

Beautiful and inexpensive smart home accessories! After first seeing this item in a Revain Lightning deal, I read more reviews and realized that people really like these smart plugs. Let me put it into words for those in a hurry. Good: - Cost: Inexpensive compared to similar products. - Size: The overall profile of the fork is fairly small and doesn't overlap as much as other forks. - Meross App: A great iOS app with a simple user interface. You can schedule it to turn on and off automaticallyโ€ฆ

Excellent quality, easy to set up and use, the app doesn't feel intrusive or bloated

I spent HOURS looking for smart plugs before deciding on this one (my first smarts alongside the Echo and Fire Stick TV). They were very affordable, but more importantly, they were very easy to set up and use. I definitely plan to buy more. You simply download and connect the Meross app. The app is very intuitive. You can give the plugin a name and even an icon. Just complete setup and then repeat for multiple outlets (if you set up multiple outlets, the name of the first one still shows byโ€ฆ
