Very disappointed in these Merrell shoes. The first Merrells, torn in the first pair of socks. Now let's look at other brands.

I bought these for my 9 year old and he loves them! They are durable and appear to be made from durable materials. He traveled last weekend after heavy rain and had no problems. Hope they hold up!

Ideal for the constantly running first grader. I had to change the laces because they were short and couldn't pull them tight enough.

I love the look of these shoes. Construction seems good etc. It doesn't matter as the width on the sides of his instep was still too tight.

I love these shoes and will buy a new pair when they are on sale. I have a small foot, got up to child size 3.5. It is difficult to find durable and quality shoes for children. This is the best I've found so far. They are very comfortable. In fact, I only buy these shoes for everyday use.

Every time I wear a size 6 and 1/2 I've called half a dozen Merrell shoes. These are too narrow in both length and width, I suggest you go up a size

I bought them a size 3, I usually wear a women's size 5, but the Merrell women's hiking shoes ran large. These fit exactly! Good quality walking shoes.

We just needed walking shoes for our kid for a trip so we couldn't find nicer shoes. Looks aside they work well but the laces are the cheapest and most defective! You have to swap!

Bought for my son to wear outside. They are easy to wash and look great. He also says they are really comfortable. We ended up using them for him to wear in family photos.

This is the worst purchase I've ever made. I don't think you're the real Merrell. I've had a pair of Merrells for 10 years but I bought 2 pairs for my 2 kids and they fell apart in less than 2 weeks. Cheap junk, don't waste your money.

Not as waterproof as I thought. And the tongue loop at the back of one boot has already snapped, so it's no longer a loop, just an eyesore. But the kids love them!

We've had these sneakers for about 8 months now. They look very nice and look high quality but the shoes are already falling apart. They didn't last very long and now I'm looking for new shoes again.

Bought for my 13 year old daughter. She has a narrower foot, these fit her. She says they are very comfortable (these are her everyday shoes) and she has no complaints.

I have very small feet, narrow heels and small ankles, so I often wear children's shoes. The shoes fit as expected and are well made. However, they are uncomfortable around the ankle, causing my crotch to wobble. On the third day in them I sprained my ankle and suffered a sprain. I have never sprained my ankle and am not prone to injury. I understand the boot has better ankle support but something is wrong with the heel of this shoe. Perhaps they are more suitable for people with wider heels.

I never got them, but I had a family member who said they had good arch support. And they helped with flat feet. Hiking shoes are the best choice for arch support!

I love these great shoes. I only had them for six months and they broke up. I only wear them to work (school) and at home. I'm disappointed, I was hoping they would at least make it through the school year.

My kid has worn these shoes maybe 5 times since we received them and the laces that hold the shoes together have already unraveled. It's not a string or two on a foot. It's both the shoes and a couple of frayed strings. Complete crap shoes. We will go elsewhere, hopefully for better shoes.

Bought these for my grandson. They're well made, comfortable, and he can beat the daylight out of them. They also have a very reasonable price. Durable and will last a long time. A very good quality.
