They are excellent in quality. My son likes to wear it and walks very stably in it. The problem is in the machine. He wears them like summer sandals and they stink after every wear. I washed them and after wearing them once the smell came back. I have to spray them with shoe deodorant and wash my feet after wearing them. He is 3! Why does a 3 year old smell like feet?!

These shoes stink! And they take forever to dry! - they also didn't last even a week so the threads didn't stick out on all the shoes. Not worth the money at all. So disappointed. - I gave 2 stars because they got the right idea of their design and how the holes are covered with mesh so the stones don't fall in easily.

My guess is that Merrell's QC is missing to say the least. I can understand minor flaws, but in reality the strap has completely detached from the tongue. As you can see from the picture, it was very noticeable. I will send them back and hope they send me a working pair.

The bracelet broke after a month. Unfortunately right after the reverse window. My son also complained that they are very uncomfortable.

I was so happy to find the same style of shoe that my grandson with special needs on his feet would wear. The shoes are a nightmare!

Bought these at the end of May, they say they are unscented but after my son wore them non stop for a week they stunk horribly! I've washed them twice and used baking soda which has helped regularly but the smell still comes back, I can't even leave it in the garage. The Velcro broke at the end of August. Not impressed

We bought this shoe for my son two months ago and he has probably worn it about 10 times and the glue on the front of the shoe has come loose! Disappointed with shoes and quality!

These sandals have walked streams and rivers, mud puddles, steep trail hikes, bike rides and everyday play adventures. My son wears them every day and I am very impressed with their quality. He's picky about shoes and they still look great after months of play because they wash really well. I was afraid he would trip over rocks in his sandals while running by the creek, but that wasn't a problem. I highly recommend!

Bought the 12Wide for my son and am very satisfied as the shoe can withstand water and heavy use. The sock is strong and the velcro is strong, I feel comfortable with my son wearing it all summer. Would buy again. EDIT. The bungee cord broke after wearing it for a day. I went back and requested a replacement, have not received a refund yet.

These are great sandals for summer. I've always liked Merrell quality. It's convenient and easy for kids. My 10 year old loves it and wears it with and without socks. Only the price is a bit higher... I remember buying previous Merrell sandals for about $35. All in all great summer sandals!

love these sandals! I'm only wearing the 3rd pair because he's changing sizes. We have a hard time finding shoes that aren't too tight on the foot, and that fit well so as not to be too tight, yet are durable enough for his many active adventures. The skin does not fade at all!

These shoes have made it through streams and rivers, mud puddles, hikes down steep trails, bike rides, and even simple errands like grocery shopping. My daughter wears them every day and they still look great because they are so durable and wash well. I was worried she would get stones in while walking the creek but that wasn't a problem. My kids are picky about shoes and I'm really impressed with their quality.

Don't buy them they lasted about 60 days and my boy is not very picky about shoes. First, the insoles always fall out. Really annoying. Then, after about 60 days, the Velcro on the strap came loose. It was simply glued without seams. Those were supposed to be $19 fakes, not Merrell on them. Bad job, Merrell. I'll let you know when we get a reply from Merrell.

The lip of the shoe is already loose. Only worn a few times as it's still cold here. Barely more than a month so I can't go back. Disappointed 😞

I buy for my son every summer. This year the top lacing broke almost immediately and a replacement was sent. It's been less than 3 months now and the velcro on both shoes completely fell off from the start rendering him unable to wear them at all.

I bought size 2 for my six year old but I received two different sizes. one is a size 1 and the other is a size 2. The sandals look nice but the size ruined them for me.

I bought for my 6 year old. They are beautiful and very comfortable, but the first time my son wore them the sandals only broke after he walked a few blocks. I guess we're unlucky, we really like the band, but we're bringing this one back.

I love these shoes but Ebay sent me the wrong size. Disappointed when my child happily wore them and then found they won't fit very long. Lame Ebay shipping error!

We've always had success with Merrell in the past but for some reason they cut his (my 5 year old) ankle where the strap crossed. I don't know if it's an extra label or what, but we need to get them back. I am now disappointed that we have to go to the store to try them on. It was a present from my grandmother, maybe she will accept it?
