Serious durability issues

I switched to Merrell shoes 5 years ago and they have been my favorites ever since! I bought a pair of Bare Access Flex Trail Runners about a month ago and being Merrell they fit true to size. and the comfort was perfect for me! However, after driving less than 100 miles, they began to tear within the first 20 days of purchase (photo attached). While I love the Merrell, I would advise against buying this particular model and instead look for the model with the best reviews.

Brilliant! Clothing, shoes and jewelry

I love them. Similar in shape to Altra. Feels like a minimal barefoot shoe with a little extra cushioning. Perfect for making your feet work harder than a running shoe but not as hard as a true minimal shoe. Nice Wednesday. Very easy. Nice wide toe. I was sick when I accidentally started my Altra Pardium, but I actually like these shoes even more.

Decent shoes with some design flaws

I bought these after wearing a pair of Trail Glove 4s which I really liked. I wanted a similar feel but with a little more cushioning, but the design of the shoe is definitely not the same (although a Merrell rep said they are very similar and have a thicker sole). They're less tight in the midfoot and heel, and the toe box is too thin on the outside - causing my little toes to rub when I run - compared to the TG4. The laces must be fed perfectly straight through the eyelets, otherwise they…

LOVE these shoes. for men

I have three pairs of these shoes and I LOVE them. I have a hard time finding hiking shoes (or shoes for that matter) that fit me. I have broken my right ankle twice and sprained it countless times and this ankle is very unstable despite a lot of physical therapy. My biggest concern and challenge when buying hiking boots is the support for this ankle. I've tried 6 different shoes over the last few years: Brooks Pure Grit 3 and 4, Altra, one from Salomon, Merrill Trail Gloves and this Merrell…

Very satisfied and I love these shoes on soft forest trails

Buying outdoor shoes online has always been a bit of a problem for me as I'm somewhere between 11.5 and 12 and depending on the manufacturer I clearly am either one or the other. The great thing about Merrell shoes is that I always wear a size 11.5 and I love that consistency. It's the same with Brooks sneakers. I'm always 12. In this case, I liked the sneakers as soon as I put them on. If you have a high arch you will love these shoes as the arch is pronounced (like many Merrell street shoes)…
