These shoes are very comfortable - so comfortable that I no longer need shoe inserts. The only downside is that they keep your feet warm. If they could make these shoes out of fabric that is a little more breathable I would give them five stars. I have a pair of Merrill walking shoes which are excellent but I get hot in them. My girlfriend has Merrill hiking shoes and she is hot in them too.

I bought it because I liked the retro style. They weren't overly expensive either. I think they are just mediocre. I expected them to be more comfortable than they are. There's not much cushioning with them. I also thought they would look a little better on my feet. Another person commented here that they were sick as an F. I totally disagree. They are average at best.

Really great shoes. I thought that this strange protector was going to be very strange, and it was at the very beginning. This definitely gives the shoe a nice lift, like it's noticeably higher than normal compared to other running shoes. It's a great jumping pad and the treads are perfectly capable of gripping anything, although they haven't really been tested in the wet. I only came back because they fit so oddly. I have a wide foot so my 2 stars might be stiff. The sole seemed smaller than my foot even though the shoes fit. I always felt like I was balancing on something. Spring. I still love this brand and every other Merrell shoe I own is 100% worth it.

These shoes look great. I'm very happy with how it looks out of the box. They are a bit bigger but I took the size I usually wear and they are ok. These are just everyday shoes. I wouldn't call them "hiking shoes" and not use them for hiking. Comfort is average, although comfort may increase after breaking in?

These shoes are very comfortable straight out of the box. I've been wearing them every other day for the past two weeks since I've had them and there is no squeaking from the panty inserts like other Merrell shoes I've had in the past. Unlike some other brands with retro versions of this shoe (LL Bean) they have noticeable and appreciated arch support. I hope Merrell continues to make them so I can buy another pair in a few years when they wear out.

As with all of my Merrell shoes, the arch support is the best. I am a Walking Pride 🌈 flag and I love it! They came with white laces, so I bought purple laces to "tie it all together". You will love them!

I wanted to enjoy this show. I ordered the size I usually order but this was too small. Not even close to "walking" them to be comfortable. With the socks I normally wear, they were too small. And after trying them on and walking around in them, I feel that if they were my main hiking shoe, the sock would be ruined very quickly. Hand back.
