Same as Moab 2 good but note a few differences

I bought these hiking boots to replace my old brown Moabs which diverged right at the toe flex point on either side of the boot. . Don't get me wrong, I love these boots, but there are some differences between old and new that you should be aware of. The tread of the old boots did not retain dirt at all - the grooves were wider and narrower. A walk across the lawn or a scratch through the shoe brush and I could enter the house without my wife's annoyance for throwing "shoe shit" all over the…

The best shoe I've ever worn.

This is my second pair of these boots and I admit to loving them. I love the Vibram outsole which wears better than any I've used. After wearing these boots I swapped out the insole for the PowerStep insole as I have very sensitive feet. For someone else, it may seem that the standard insole is ideal for them. My wife has since switched to these boots and we both love them. I wear them in everyday work, when walking, hiking and also when cycling. Simply the best shoes I've ever worn!

Great option for light hiking shoes. If you've ever walked miles in heavy mountaineering boots, you won't believe how light they are. I can't attest to their durability as their construction makes them a one shoulder seasonal boot and they don't require a break in period at all. Your feet WILL GET wet from wearing them in wet weather or trekking through swamps or tall grass, but they dry quickly. The weakest link in them is the lacing system. Great boot, approved by Mount Whitney!

Got these for Mount Whitney, honestly I was ill prepared and blessed with these boots. Put them on the day before your walk and make sure they fit, take them off after 10 minutes. The next time I wore them with thick wool socks was at 3am on a hike. They rocked all the way, others complained their legs were sore and sore after 6-10 hours, they kept them comfortable throughout the hike! We started at 4am and ended at 8:30pm.
