I have read all the reviews saying they are too big, stiff, uncomfortable, squeaky etc. All of this is true. Most reviews said to order a size down but surprisingly my pair was too small. I've been wearing them for a few days now hoping they'll break, but I had to give them up and look for something else. I'm sad, I really wanted these shoes to work. Merrell used to be my favorite hiking shoe but the quality has dropped over the years.

I bought these shoes about a year and a half ago. I wear them so seldom that the sole is in near perfect condition. When last worn, the glue on the soles had completely evaporated. I contacted Merrell and explained the situation. They refused to do anything about it as it had been more than a year since purchase and denied a manufacturing defect. Got a 30% discount on a new pair of shoes but with this quality I wouldn't want to buy from Merrell again.

The shoes looked exactly how I wanted them - light summer shoes without laces. The quality turned out to be good. Previous Merrell shoes were comfortable and durable. However, while the 9.5 inch length was spot on, they were uncomfortably tight and I had to send them back. FWIW, the return process was free and easy.

Merrell has great shoes but I thought they were more stylish after seeing the pictures. They look a bit like an old man's boots. They're comfortable and make you want to walk to the nearest bingo hall!

These shoes are probably the most comfortable pair I have ever worn. They are very strong yet light weight, provide the support I need and look absolutely amazing! These are definitely quality shoes and I suspect, like all the other Merrell shoes I currently own, these are my favorite pair. I highly recommend this pair of shoes, you will never regret your decision in the future.

These are beautiful shoes. I've been buying Merrell's exclusively for at least 20 years. This is the first time a pair of my size didn't fit me. They also charged me for the refill.

It's not a particularly comfortable or quiet shoe. I've bought most of what Merrell offers in the last 7 years. At least 90% of the time they haven't let me down. It was in the last 10%. If you are looking for comfortable and quiet boat shoes, take advantage of someone else's suggestion. It is neither one nor the other.

This shoe like other Merrells shoes is great and good for orthotics. This shoe solved my ankle problem. I've had Rockport and others and it works!

I liked the shoes but the hole to insert the foot was too small. Had to struggle with shoes and use a shoehorn to put them on. I don't go through this every time I wear them.

This shoe size was much larger than another pair of Merrells I own. I have worn the other pair as travel shoes for many years and have worn them all over the world. This new one is a different size and the quality is not at all the same as my current pair. The return of these shoes was quick and convenient.
