Super comfy for toddlers

This is the second pair of these boots that I have bought for my 2 year old. He outgrew the first pair but kept asking me to wear them so I bought him the exact same color and a size up. He loves running in them and splashing in puddles and I love that they are waterproof. I definitely recommend this shoe for active little explorers.

Pros
  • Comes with a limited manufacturer's warranty
Cons
  • Breathability may not be sufficient in hot and humid conditions

Great shoes for toddlers outdoors

Perfect fit, especially for baby's wide foot. Very well made and feel extremely durable while still being comfortable and easy to slip on.

Pros
  • I got this for my grandson. Ideal in every way. Flexible yet durable! Continuous! Would buy again!
Cons
  • Fell apart after a week of wearing and no response from seller.

my baby loves her

The first day we got them he wouldn't take them off. Wore only diaper and boots all day. I would say they are waterproof not waterproof because he splashed in puddles and his socks got wet afterwards. A good dose of waterproofing spray should do the trick. I ordered a size up and they fit well in socks but are still roomy. Now he has 6 and has ordered 7 (he is 1.5).

Pros
  • Suitable for children with wide feet.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with certain foot conditions such as plantar fasciitis.

Simple, convenient in my review.

These were fall walkers for my grandson that he wore every day. For this year I bought exactly the Hiker in its larger shoe size. Bought the wide width, great for thicker socks.

Pros
  • Can be worn with or without socks
Cons
  • May not provide adequate arch support for children with high arches.

Great, but don't hesitate

We really liked these shoes, they wear well and are very cute, but within 2 weeks when my 2 year old wore them only a dozen times, the stitching at the top came undone and the elastic laces broke. Unfortunately we have to send them back.

Pros
  • Ideal for hiking, outdoor activities and everyday adventures
Cons
  • Can chafe the ankle or other areas of the foot when hiking.

Perfect new review in my review

In these things, my child's legs were comfortable. She wore it for the first time and didn't need to break it in. We went camping over the weekend and it was great!

Pros
  • Seems comfortable and durable. Easy to wear. The shoes are beautiful too!
Cons
  • May not fit some children's foot

Hiking shoes for kids that really work!

The kids love them. The ability to go hiking without fear of our kids hurting their legs or having a hard time. The best part, easy to clean!

Pros
  • Helps develop balance and coordination
Cons
  • Young children may find it difficult to put on and take off

Bare steps my mind

Great shoes, waterproof, durable and surprisingly easy to put on. My kid walks great in it. I wish they made a low top version too

Pros
  • Love her! Now the whole family is equipped with Merrell.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with high arches.

Great for toddlers

My 3 year old daughter has such a hard time finding hiking shoes. It is great. Flexible enough to walk comfortably but strong enough to go over rough terrain and rocks. And super cute. She also likes that she can wear them herself.

Pros
  • Can be worn for different activities
Cons
  • A sock may be missing to allow for the natural movement of the toes while hiking.

The cutest and most comfortable!

These are the cutest and most comfortable hiking shoes for little bumpy feet. It seemed like we tried every brand. None of these fitted as well as this one and was so easy to put on on thick legs. Well done.

Pros
  • Ideal for use in preschools and kindergartens
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children with different foot shapes making finding the right fit difficult.

Fell apart after a few months

Very comfortable for my toddler with wide feet but they fall apart after only a few months of partial use. The sole is detached, the insoles are crumbled, one of the Velcro has fallen off. Can't recommend for the price. I expected from a pair of Merrill boots :(

Pros
  • Non-slip sole for safety on any surface
Cons
  • Easy to scratch or damage during rough play or camping

Looks great, fits great!

One of the cutest toddler sneakers I've ever seen for our 3 year old. The quality is excellent, comfortable grip, the size fits.

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some children to carry comfortably

Worth the money in my opinion.

They fit my baby's feet so easily! I like that they are waterproof and easy to clean. Also stylish enough to wear outside of camping too.

Pros
  • Provides protection from the elements
Cons
  • You may lack the flexibility to move comfortably while hiking

Real shoes, not faux foam.

Shoes are really designed to protect and support a child's foot. The material is durable and well made. I have already bought another pair for my daughter and will be buying another pair. Buy shoes.

Pros
  • Affordable price
Cons
  • May have a strong odor or chemical odor when first purchased

Perfect sneakers for toddlers

I searched and searched for the perfect lightweight running shoes for my little one and finally bought them. They fit perfectly, my toddler loved them and would buy them again if needed.

Pros
  • Made from high quality materials for durability
Cons
  • May not be warm enough for cold weather

The perfect shoe for young outdoor enthusiasts!

We love colors! The shoes are sturdy, fit great and she can walk, climb and ride in them! I also like that they are water repellent. Costs money!

Pros
  • I love these shoes for my 2 year old. This is the second time I buy these shoes for him. They ensure that his wide feet feel comfortable.
Cons
  • not as good quality as other merrel shoes

Great shoe for little hikers!

Bought these for our 3 year old on a GSMNT trip. He walked and walked in them! Much firmer than his regular running shoes, but not heavy.

Pros
  • Shoes are of good quality, very well made
Cons
  • My child wore them for a full 15 minutes before she got HORRIBLE blisters on both feet.

Great boots!: my review

These Merrell boots are even cuter and super functional! We chose them for our daughter rather than constantly wearing big chunky boots in the winter. I especially like that they have a roomy fit like she wears with New Balance and that they are waterproof! They are perfect and worth their price! Well done Merrel!

Pros
  • Removable insole for easy cleaning and replacement
Cons
  • May not have a wide range of colors to suit individual preferences.

Great for the little hobbit's wide paws!

Perfect for my son to "off-road" at the dog park and in the snow. One caveat: since these are high tops that don't have extra padding at the top, high socks are required to avoid chafing.

Pros
  • Fits my little one perfectly, great quality and the design/colors are PERFECT.
Cons
  • May not provide adequate support for children with flat feet
