Merrell Steps Water Orange Toddler Review

Either the description is wrong, or someone screwed it up. They clearly indicate large children aged 8-12 years. I ordered 5 1/2 for my 10 year old and received tiny KIDS SHOES! Pooh. Shoes appear to be of good quality. If you are buying for a child. Ordering is through Best Buy, so I can't even ask if they really come in plus-size for kids.

They are very well done. They are wonderful and thick on the sole so my daughter can't feel the branches or rocks on our lawn. We have an inflatable pool that we use and put in our garden. So if there were branches under it when we put it down she could feel it, but she walks great in the water and never trips her feet over anything. They also dry very quickly and that says something about the shoe. Highly recommended. I will take another pair when my daughter outgrows them.

Great first shoes for my 1 year old. Looks like my son loves them. I've tried Carter's boots before but he didn't like them, maybe because the sole was too thick and he didn't want to walk. This Merrell is incredible. He walks in shoes.

Charming and exactly as described. Unfortunately they were a bit too big, although the adjustable ankle strap helps with that, but my daughter refused to wear them. She's in an independent vein and couldn't put them on herself, so she refused to wear them. They were too expensive to keep in hopes that she would love them.

I love these shoes for my little ones. I bought a pair for my daughter and blue and orange for my son. He has thick, wide feet, so finding shoes that fit him is difficult. But these are amazing! I will buy them again when he outgrows them.

My daughter (21 months) loves these shoes so much that she wears them even when she is not playing with water. The superior quality Merrell is known for. Super happy with the purchase. I'll wait for the next pair when she outgrows this one.

I like the shoes but I think they are defective as the insole does not remain in any of them. I expected more for the price. They are a bit big. Arrival took longer than expected.

I bought these for my 1 year old and they are perfect shoes for summer. The 4.5 fits as expected, leaving some room for growth. I highly recommend these shoes, they are excellent quality.

This shoe is ideal for children learning to walk. My daughter started walking at the age of 4.5 and we have already bought the next size up. They have proven to be a great all round shoe and we plan to take them to the beach.

My 3.5 year old twins have these shoes. Both love to play them outside and inside. The shoes are very spacious at the top, which is very convenient when the shoes get wet.

My daughter wears them everywhere. She wore them to the lake, to the water park, to fenders, to the garden and on bike rides. They provide more air circulation than your tennis shoes. Great summer shoe and hasn't fallen apart yet.

It's very difficult to find water shoes for a wide foot and these are the best! search no more. The fact that these are also durable running shoes is a win. I feel like they are a bit larger than other brands of toddler shoes but grow in rather than tight so they fit great for us.

These are great water shoes for little ones. They don't blister and don't have huge holes for sand and rocks to get in. They are a bit big. My little one is a size 9 in most shoes but the size chart says 9.5. I bought a 9.5 and they were too big so I bought a 9 and it fits perfectly.

True to size. This is the perfect shoe for my little one to walk and get wet in. We walk all over the yard, in and out of the pool and these are great shoes. Durable and lightweight.

This is our 4th couple. My toddler beat up his other pair and they still looked great after a few months. He finds them so comfortable that he doesn't take them off as soon as he walks in the door like all the other shoes he has. They are light, have excellent grip and dry fairly quickly. I bought them even though they were 2 sizes too big because they came in an open box for $15. set them aside until they fit.

I was very disappointed with these water boots as they were made by Merrell and my expectations were pretty high. Not only do they dry for over two days, but the color has run off and left stains on my baby's legs and leggings. This was a HUGE disappointment for a Merrell product that bills itself as a 'water shoe'.

These Merrell shoes are amazing. My kid loves the color - it's rainbow, her favorite. The size is very accurate. They fit great and look so comfortable. The product is very convincing.

The shoes are well made and durable. Loved her but had to go back. My daughters wore them one day and got huge blisters on their heels!

Love it! I received these for my 15 month old to wear as casual shoes to kindergarten. They're easy to put on, but she can't take them off easily, which is good. My daughter has hot sweaty feet and I bought them hoping the mesh would help them breathe and walk well. They are well made and the foot shape is roomy and doesn't pinch the toes.

I bought them in the leather version, so the size was as expected. They are really easy to put on and dry faster than regular Celadon socks. They are perfect for our needs.
