Worn out very quickly. Not recommended for active kids...

I bought them in July because they were on sale to prepare for the school year. My son started wearing them in September and they are already torn. I've had other less expensive brands that have lasted much longer. I'm not sure if this is genuine Merrell quality.

Pros
  • My son has normal feet but these shoes are really too tight. He cannot support himself. Quality is ok

  • They feel strong but are difficult to put on as the material is not as flexible.

Very well done in my opinion

I love these shoes. They are very well made and great for hiking etc. They seem to run small and are a bit difficult to put on but my 3 year old grandson loved them.

Pros
  • These are great shoes. They fit well and have received many compliments. I highly recommend them.

  • The sole breaks quickly and leads to holes

8 ordered, 7 received.

We ordered 8 and got 7. We only noticed that when the shoes were too small for our son. And the return window closed a few days ago. Be careful when checking the size after receiving it.

Pros
  • My grandson loves these shoes. They fit very well and are well made and durable. Would buy again.

  • I ordered the correct size but couldn't fit my son's foot in the shoes...he doesn't have a wide foot...had to return the shoes.

Durable and quality shoes for a child of 2 years.

My 2.5 year old loves these shoes! I was already a big fan of Merrell shoes and have a few for myself so getting them for my son wasn't difficult. They are very durable, fit perfectly and I'm sure they will last a long time. I will definitely be buying a few more when he outgrows them!

  • My 3.5 year old loves picking them out. They seem to be well made and are holding up well (he's been wearing them every day for a few weeks now).

Shoes run small in my review

These shoes run small even in a large size. It was a present for the grandson. I couldn't make it back by the deadline so I'm stuck with the shoes.

Pros
  • At first we weren't sure, but our kid loves it. Works on all surfaces like a charm - easy to use and maintain!
Cons
  • The shoes are good and my 3 year old wears them almost every day. The Velcro wears out pretty quickly.

Very well done. the best in my rating

Great shoes for my toddler. However, they are not easy to put on. My childminder almost gave up trying to force it on my son. When worn, they provide amazing support for small feet and ankles.

I think the shoe size is correct

Merrell shoes arrived in a used box but the shoes themselves looked somewhat new. The seams are in tact and the shoe is a bit stiff. The arch is low. The shoes are exactly the same size as other shoes my little one wears and fit perfectly.

  • Shoes are good but tight. Difficult to transfer them to an active 3 year old.
Cons
  • I didn't like that they were sooo small. I bought fir for a small child, not for a child.

I wanted to buy 7 water for a big child but I got 7 wide for a baby. There is nothing wrong with the product, but be aware that this is not for school children.

Ideal for hiking

Ideal for hiking. My son used to wear different shoes and was slippery the whole hike. With them he had a firm grip on his next hike and did not tire so quickly.

Toddler Non-Stop Durable Shoes

Great for toddlers with my wide feet. First off, these are super durable shoes! With them he can run, climb on everything. Now his buddies have similar pairs too because they're "so quick" at it. But be careful with speed quotes as they are from three year olds.
