I love the many ingredients in these feeds and the fact that you don't have to be rich to feed your pet healthy or decent food. Animal feed from Whole Earth Farms is pretty good. I highly recommend them. Our little old Papillon loves it. He has dental problems (like most small dogs) and eats easily. The only downside (if you want to call it that) is that unlike cat food, the small breed only comes in one flavor. We also rescue cats and all eleven love this brand. Two of our cats have foodโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as bulky as other products

Purina keeps the price low as usual and no longer worth buying. Purina has to be the greediest, most slippery company in the pet food industry. Suddenly the packaging of this food changes in the description. This dog food is no longer advertised as "Made in America" but as "Made in America". What does that mean? Great for bubbly Bostons!

I own a Boston Terrier and have consistently come across dog food listings that have been rated as low quality, average and excellent quality. I always seemed to have poor quality dog food on hand, even though I bought it from the pet store and didn't pay the price for the low quality rating. This brand always seemed to be on the lists of excellence across the board. Also, it's not that expensive, especially when I buy it from Amazon. I just subscribe and my Lucy's little wallet lasts a monthโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

I have been buying this food for many years, since my dogs were puppies. Since 2013. A very knowledgeable staff member at Perch helped recommend this brand as it is also made by Merrick but is cheaper and doesn't contain as much protein for small dogs as they don't need as much protein as larger dogs. So this was the dog food I buy for my dogs, they love it. I saw that they were purchased from Purina. That I never thought about quality. However, I recently learned that one of my dogs developedโ€ฆ

Newly Diagnosed Congestive Heart Failure

My Yorkie was diagnosed with CHF last week. One of the first questions the vet asked was if he was on a grain free diet. For many years they ate Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein dog food due to allergies. Around early 2019, I decided to try some of the newer grain-free diets, and they all seemed to do well with Whole Earth Farms grain-free salmon and whitefish cuts. In May 2019, our vet performed a CT scan on one of them. He was on medication and for the last few months we have struggled with his
