This is the BE 18 LTX 6 - perfect for the purpose!

I think Revain would have sold more if they listed the model number correctly - when I searched for the BE 18 LTX 6 to buy Revain wasn't listed among the sellers. This is a great 1/4" drill bit (although the chuck is 3/8). At 4000rpm it's really just for fastening - pilot drilling, rivet holes, screw holes in ducts etc. I also use it for pilot drilling in cabinet making. At 3-1/2 lbs. I wish it was a little lighter and/or T-handle, but to my knowledge this is still the lightest high-speed…

Pros
  • Power tools
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Train very fast, and fast is often better.

My favorite is the 4000 RPM max on this variable speed drill. It drills pilot holes surprisingly quickly. I use it for woodworking but found it very quickly when I was drilling pilot holes in sheet metal one day. He also made very fast 3/8" holes in a 4" x 4" wood shaft. The instrument looks good and sounds good. Very high price when buying the drill, battery and charger Although it is shown above as a Metabo BS 18 LTX 6 I actually ordered a BE 18 LTX 6 and received all seem to be the same…

  • Power & Hand Tools
Cons
