Almost great. But you have to work every time.

I bought this specifically for a 3/4" solid oak installation. It has been store tested and worked well. For some reason the first few shots didn't sink properly but the next 20 shots did with 1-3/8" dowel nails going through 3/4" thick oak. Everything was fine until he missed 3 times in a row which caused the dowel nails to stick out of the barrel 1/4". Wood. Not good, and yes the battery was charged. Could be better good for nailers

Not a bad gun. I was a little hesitant to make the purchase due to some bad reviews and after reading a few thousand nails I can say they weren't entirely wrong. My first gun started jamming after the first 1000 shots. I spoke to the great people at Metabo's factory service who were willing to admit that the tool can be a bit finicky. He seems to require being kept extraordinarily clean. They recommended cleaning it with a fast-drying electronics solvent and lubricating it with a silicone-based

Good Nailers - Pinners

Update: 2 months after purchase. I've narrowed down all nail related problems and since then I haven't had many problems with nail stands misfiring or breaking. When loading nails you must be very careful to push the nails towards the bottom of the magazine so that the nail guide runs properly over the top of the nails and holds them in place.
