I needed several bookends but wanted something a bit nicer than the standard "library" bookends. These are great - super value for the money and they work just fine for what I bought them for. I likely wouldn't use them for oversized heavy books because they would look disproportionately small but for 95% of the books I have in my library, they are perfect.

I bought these bookends for my son's bookshelf. I have had bad luck with buying cheap bookends lately (I had to return other brands twice!), so I thought I'd pay a little bit more and try these. I am very happy with the quality and very happy with my purchase. They are lightweight but not flimsy, and hold up books well. I also like the design. Would definitely recommend.

I prefer a deeper tongue under the books, but these are beautiful bookends for lightweight items, and I love that they are pretty enough to show. I don't have to hide that I'm using them. This is wonderful for shelves that aren't yet filled or where I am spacing things in order to include décor items on shelves. Your mileage may vary, for very heavy books with a tendency to tip. These all metal book-ends (hence the 3 star for lightweight.these are made to be heavy which we think is a plus) are the real deal. Soft silicon (I think) pads prevent metal to shelf contact. Ours came 2 in a bag so a multiple order does not rub together during shipping. Bottom width of over 3" allows more than one book to anchor the book-end down and the nice cut pattern on the vertical part actually looks nice!

I love these bookends so much that I ended up ordering a second set. I am very impressed with them overall. They are high quality, sturdy, effective, and also they look great on the shelf. I'm actually using mine for my comic books believe it or not. I'm an advid collector of modern books and I have a couple of filing cabinets. As I spread out the titles to give more space for the larger runs I need something to hold up my books to make sure they don't get bent out of shape since Modern books go up in price every day. Getting a new ladder type bookcase soon and wanted to be sure my books would be held securely. The bookends may not be suitable for use with loose-leaf books or pages! These fit the bill.

I love these bookends! In fact, I'm thinking of ordering more for my bedroom as I like them so much on my living room shelves. They look great and have a wide base so they can hold heavy books. They are quite tall so wouldn't work for really short books. But I found I like then even with my paperbacks as they cover the whole end of the books. See photo

Loved the design as using in the classroom. Box felt a little heavy, however, some books can push the bookend from the place where I want it to stay. Overall has been great, but may not work best with heavy, larger books

I was searching for bookends and found these. I love how they look like branches of a tree and they are more decorative than solid metal. Sturdy and they come in a set, which is nice too. I would recommend these and will probably get another set!

Love the design & height. They don’t really hold books back much better than other bookends, but their height does help keep books upright. Nothing is perfect, but these are decent. I will but more if needed.

I bought 3 sets of these book ends(6 total book ends) and they have been amazing. They hold up big heavy Harry Potter books and small kids books! The design is very pleasing and well painted! Definitely recommend!

Great product, but the packing container it came in was FULL of giant black andts carrying larvae! When I opened my mailbox they flew and crawled all over the place, it was very disturbing. I opened the package outside and there were more than 50 ants inside the container itself. Very gross.

I purchased a bookcase with open ends thus the books could fall off. These make a decorative addition to my industrial looking bookcase. They hold the books in place well. Nice product!

Perfect for paperbacks and hardcovers! I had books stacked several places, and with these bookends I could finally line them up. I love that they are very thin, so they don’t take up valuable space that the books need. Very satisfied with them.
