Ordered to have on hand for preventative maintenance of shower and sink drains. I have long hair that clogs my drains and needs to be removed from time to time when my drains slow down. These tools make the task less messy and easier to do, so I'll probably do them more often. I see how this can hopefully keep me from calling a plumber in the future, saving me $$$.

I was shocked that when these drain unclogging tools arrived my wife snapped and went to the sink. The sink wasn't clogged, but she managed to get a fair amount of hair and slime out of the drain with an orange plastic drain cleaning stick. Inexpensive and easy to use, this is a great kit for cleaning drains and avoiding calling the plumber (or your husband).

We don't have clogged drains but we use them sometimes when the woman's hair is slowing down the drains. For less than $7, you get everything you need to unclog or clog those pesky drains. You may not like what comes out of these drains, but they will definitely work. They are easy to use: just insert into the drain and pull back. All of these items are useful. I mostly use orange colored plastic pieces to remove dirt from the sink. The teeth on them are such that they can be easily ripped off if you're not careful. Be sure to gently pull it out and move it from side to side if it starts to snag to avoid damage. While I haven't had to use the capture tool yet, it's nice to have one if you have young kids. I had a sink that drained slowly and normally. I would remove the siphon by hand and remove the dirt that has built up since the drain was last cleaned, but this time I decided to try this kit instead. . Since I cleaned the drain like a manual drain plug, I had to remove the plug from the drain pipe to insert these tools into the drain pipe.
