Good quality wire

The wire is of good quality and long enough. Proper installation requires the removal of interior panels and trim, which can be difficult and time consuming.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Solved my problem (2005 Chrysler Pacifica)

Solved my sound problem on my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica. Sounds from every speaker. I didn't connect the center speaker, but it comes with cables.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • -

Fit exactly in the vehicle and have done their job.

Easy installation. All cables were labeled so there was no confusion as to which cable went where. The connectors were thick enough to make a solid connection, but not too thick to not get the job done.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The list is growing.

Difficult to install

It should be noted that I didn't install this, my good friend who has more experience with stereo installs did it for me. The "instructions" weren't quite that clear, it took quite a bit of brainstorming and trial and error to figure out what went to which cable from which component. But he figured it out, and with the right connection, it works as it should.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Can't remember

Often just better - it works fairly well

We tried using the Metra interface box but after returning two defective boxes we were left with the front speakers to which we ran additional cables and chose these . It's much more profitable and works much better. If you want an aftermarket stereo, forget the amp and use it from the start. You save a lot of time and headaches.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • No

Great product with no instructions!

This product was very easy to install, however no instructions were provided. I just thought a little, used common sense, and understood. Find the booster in your Pacifica, mine was in the rear driver's seat (I don't have a third row). Disconnect the speaker wire harness from the amplifier and connect it to this wire harness. Now route the cables to the back of the deck and connect them to the desired speaker cables. Boom, you're set and you should be getting sound from an aftermarket stereo…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • boring packaging

Easy install no instructions required

Bought for my wife's 2007 Pacifica Touring. It features an amplified seven-channel system (front center instrument panel, front-seat mid/tweeters, rear speakers, no subwoofer). The front tweeters need to be connected through a crossover as they work with my Pioneer 4 channel system (doesn't need to use an external crossover as planned). The amplifier is located behind the passenger seat in the 3rd row. This is a fairly simple setup, it comes with a wire harness to connect to the OEM radio…

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
