Perfect fit for 2002 Montero Sport with factory amp

Originally I accidentally bought an original aftermarket speaker wiring harness (I learned this the hard way, it's a good idea to take out the factory radio and check, because it will NOT work if there is a factory amp in your car). If you unplug the factory radio you can see that on the back there is a large black wire (which I didn't connect to anything) and then a smaller black wire that goes to the radio (it goes to the amp if you don't have it do' Don't use this wiring harness (70-7003) to

As many others have said. What you need for 01/02 Eclipse GS

A few more installation notes: I didn't need the plastic hardware kit when I installed the aftermarket stereo. I was able to mount it in a factory stereo mount and use the factory box underneath. There is an extra cable that I removed from the back of the factory unit that was not reconnected to the secondary unit. It scared me, but everything worked fine. I used Y splitters to combine the front/rear signal into one RCA cable and plug it into the back of the unit. Much easier than connecting…

Worked as it should

My car needed a special wiring harness to connect the audio system and amplifier. This is of course because I had a series amp. I could easily put a new amp and speakers in my car, but this wiring harness will save you a ton of money if you don't want to redo everything. It was easy to trace the wiring on the box, all you had to do was match the colors to the receiver's colors. I had a small problem with the amplifier cable. My receiver needed to connect the antenna wire to this blue wire that…

Good stuff, works great

Great item for my Eclipse 2001, just remember 2 things: disconnect the battery or don't let the wires touch the metal in the dash or each other (unless it is black) ground wire ) In this case, the fuses will blow and most likely they are under the hood (I blew 3 out of 10 amps). Then plug the blue wire attached to the RCA connectors into the red wire slot on the wire harness that comes with the kit. I would like photos to show you. but pretty much the wire harness comes with red, black, yellow…

My problem solved! in Lighting and Electrical

I had a Pioneer car radio and then got a wiring harness like this one from Crutchfield. After a while when I was listening she would make this high pitched whine noise. Sometimes it went away after a few turns of the radio off and on, sometimes it went away on its own, and sometimes the noise stayed for a day or two. And it was worse when the outside temperature was hot. I didn't think the wiring harness was the problem because there were just a couple of power-like wires from the RCA to the…

If you have Mitsubishi with Infinity WHAT YOU NEED

We have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant with an Infinity audio system. We bought a new JVC Kd-r320 dash single din cd/mp3/wma/am/fm car receiver with remote control to replace the original one that came with the car after the cd player stopped working. Not knowing anything about the wiring in our car, we went to a local store and bought what we thought was the right wiring harness for our car. It turned out (after we connected everything) that there was no sound. We needed something to hook up to an…
