Review on Metra 70 7003 Wiring Harness Mitsubishi by Kenny Shaver

My problem solved! in Lighting and Electrical

I had a Pioneer car radio and then got a wiring harness like this one from Crutchfield. After a while when I was listening she would make this high pitched whine noise. Sometimes it went away after a few turns of the radio off and on, sometimes it went away on its own, and sometimes the noise stayed for a day or two. And it was worse when the outside temperature was hot. I didn't think the wiring harness was the problem because there were just a couple of power-like wires from the RCA to the speakers. And I thought if it was the seat belts I wouldn't hear anything the whole time. But it turned out to be the wiring harness. One of the reviewers mentioned this issue with this device as well. I lived with this problem for over a year and finally decided I was okay with it. So I bought another Kenwood receiver. But the problem still existed. Then I saw a comment from one of the reviewers that the round stopper caused the same problem for this reviewer as well. So I tried that and wow! I haven't had any problems for over a week! (Usually it should happen at least every two days) I'm so happy! And it was also very easy to install! The only thing that is difficult is to put the amplifier. strength in blue. I had both amps before. The performance and the performance of the antenna are linked to the performance of the amplifier and I think the Pioneer car radio should have had it that way. But with the Kenwood receiver, you only had to connect one amplifier. Perfomance. BTW, I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES-V6 with an Infinity speaker system. I just hope this suspension lasts for the next 5 years or so.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly OK but...
