as it should be

Works great, plug and play - fitting a '99 crv ecu into a '97 crv. The only problem is that the dimmer wire was missing from my original 97 plug, so the radio doesn't light up when the headlights are on. In any case, the thing works, the quality is decent. I'm glad they are for sale here!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Quality replacement.

If an idiot in front of us hadn't screwed up the wiring in the 99 CR-V we were working on it would have been completely plug and play. ' To install. The benefit now is that the wiring is back to stock as the wiring harness goes in the right place in the right color! The stock radio performs like a champ and costs a lot less money than the local big box store would want to get the same.

Technically it works... but important wires are missing.

I think if you replace the head unit with a basic double din stereo without touchscreen. And you don't have steering wheel controls, that will work just fine. But if you need to upgrade to CarPlay or AndroidAuto, or keep your SWC, it's not worth it. AutoHarnesses.com (which is sold here) and took this particular wire harness to customize with three additional wires to suit your needs. It costs an additional $3. As the old saying goes, it's better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Great replacement for the stock seat belts.

When they stole my radio from my car they took this wiring harness so I need to replace it. It met OEM specifications and was easy to install. I checked with third party suppliers to make sure the colors match and everything works fine. I have also used an aftermarket Metra radio in conjunction with this part and both have worked great. So far so good, installed in my car for over a year and they haven't given me any problems. Make sure this part fits your car, just go to this website…

Mandatory for 2004 TSX

Fitting a radio to a 2004 TSX is difficult but CAN be done. You will need to use a factory MP3 player adapter that converts the storage pocket to an "almost DIN" sized hole and use this inverted harness tee with another Metra harness to reconnect it to the factory radio to save power and light up your watch. and HVAC panel. I ordered my stuff from Crutchfield and they didn't mention I lost the displays or need these harnesses. However, they credited me with $15 so I could buy it elsewhere. Now…

Bad wiring or pin the best in replacement parts

connector fits perfectly. After plugging in and checking radio operation before reassembling the dashboard, the radio worked perfectly. After the installation was complete, I found that my right front speaker wasn't working. The second time I removed that neatly and checked all the wiring. There were no problems, with the off-dash radio all four speakers worked fine. When replacing the radio in the dashboard, with the radio on, the right front channel disappeared. I found that when I moved the…
