Speaker Connector for Toyota/Mitsubishi Vehicles - Metra 72-9301 Model Review

Used on a base 2015 Chevy Spark model without the fancy MyLink radio. A total of 4 adapters were used to replace the standard speakers. Use them to connect the rear Boss CH6930 and the front Boss CH3220.

Correct circuit diagram, but incomplete assembly. Will not connect to factory pig lift until it snaps. It only installs about 1/2 way. I had to use a zipper to hold the pig tails together.

I hesitated for a long time before choosing this speaker adapter. After scouring the internet and not finding a proper answer as to whether it would fit my Mini Cooper 06, I pulled the trigger and bought it to try for myself. Don't you know it fits! Easy to install, no soldering required.

Will not fit 2003 Mitsubishi MONTERO Limited. Planned today and unfortunately without success. I hope they accept the return and send me the right ones. This item is non-refundable. It is fair that I selected the wrong item, which I was told would fit my car, but that is not the case. sad

I thought this product would fit Toyota and Mitsubishi vehicles. Not suitable for MITSUBISHI. I ended up using the ends by cutting off the gray clips and connecting them. The endings are great. You are tight on the speakers. If you're buying for Toyota and they fit, great. Do not buy for Mitsubishi. The seller company ships REALLY fast and accurate! It's not her fault, of course. I probably didn't read correctly.

This wire harness worked for me in 06 Elantra for rear speakers. My project required some tweaks/changes. The speakers I chose are 6x9 4-way Rockford Fosgate, the terminals on these speakers are larger than the breakers on the wiring harness. This was easily remedied for me by purchasing 10 Radio Shack Model: 64-4039 female quick disconnects, this is a pack of 10 quick disconnects (5 each for 1/4" and 3/16"). I always try to stock everything as much as possible which includes keeping the original wiring connectors in case I want to return. (Space is very tight, so I didn't want to unnecessarily splice, crimp, and shrink the new connectors.) This connector did the job perfectly. I modified the ends that attach to the paddles on the 4" kicker speakers to fit snugly and connected the other end to the end of the speaker wires that connect to the stock speakers.
