Review on Speaker Connector for Toyota/Mitsubishi Vehicles - Metra 72-9301 Model by Jeff Richmond

I always try to stock everything as much as possible which includes keeping the original wiring connectors in case I want to return. (Space is very tight, so I didn't want to unnecessarily splice, crimp, and shrink the new connectors.) This connector did the job perfectly. I modified the ends that attach to the paddles on the 4" kicker speakers to fit snugly and connected the other end to the end of the speaker wires that connect to the stock speakers. It didn't snap, but it's good enough that the signal goes right through and doesn't cut off until you interrupt it.(You can tape the connectors if you're worried, but I really don't think it's necessary.) Very happy with this product in my 1990 Mitsubishi Montero. (Probably the same for any Gen 1 Monteros or Dodge Raider.)
