Universal Fit - Marine Speakers

I only gave this product 4 stars out of 5 because it is plastic. If they were metal it would be perfect. Worked well by installing my component speakers. Be extra careful during installation.

Pros
  • Gotcha!
Cons
  • Small things

Wish there was a better option

They are cheap plastic and don't last long. Use washers to separate them from the door so the plastic is perfectly level when installing. The holes matched my 2003 Honda Element perfectly.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • high price

everything is good, tight and sounds great

Gave me enough room to fit the speaker in my car door, the speaker wasn't meant for my car I think but I drilled some new holes and viola! everything fits nicely and sounds great.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Fits

Good product but fine tuning is fine.

This is a good product. I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the fit. It was tight but definitely not a perfect fit and I had to cut corners for installation. However, it allowed me to complete the installation when the standard mounts didn't work.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not sure

Not for 2007 Xterra

While the product appears to be well built and usable in another application, it was too small to work in the rear speaker positions on my 2007 Nissan Xterra of the Year. I bought them to adapt a Polk Audio db651 kit but they just don't fit and can't be modified to work. As always, Revain was great to come back.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I'll write back

Not the best choice for Mazda Proteges 1st gen

It's really not very good. They don't quite fit and are difficult to use/install. You will have to use nuts and bolts to attach the 5.25 to the high torque adapter and the plastic will break. If your doors aren't flat and smooth (Mazda's aren't), this will result in the door panel sticking out too far for the manual window handles to not work properly.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Weight
