But it doesn't actually attach to anything in the console like an old stereo. He just sits there very comfortably. I bought this for a Volvo 850 R (1996) and installed it quickly and easily. They break down the instructions by company (Volvo, Ford, etc.). Some of them require you to de-tab enabled clips (I had to), but that was easy. I recommend being careful when installing the screws as they are easy to remove. Pull them up, but don't overdo it.
