Works exactly as advertised but good luck with the finish. My car has a fake wood dashboard and it was VERY difficult to cut.

I didn't think it would work at first but when I received it and installed it I was amazed and very happy with this product.

Receiver side mount (included) needs modification for 2005 Dodge Durango. Also, the inner body of the car receiver (came from the car) needs to be cut above to fit the 2 bin receiver.

This dash kit did not fit my dual band radio and I was asked to fit it. I had to seriously change the dashboard to even get a radio. waste of time and money

For my PT Cruiser, the amount of OEM trim requested by Metra was insufficient. I had to cut about 1/8 to 1/4 inch more than the instructions said. There's enough overlap with the front metric bezel so it's not a problem, you just need to make sure everything fits.

Exactly what I needed and cheaper than the store. If you buy this, you'll have to cut out the factory dash, or you can order a navigation bar, but they'll cost anywhere from $80 to $300. The neat finish you get with this set hides your cut lines well and no one will know it's DYI. Assuming your cutting lines are straight😉

The set works very well, insert the template into the bezel, trace with a small pickaxe or screwdriver, then I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel. When you install it, don't remove your Dremel just yet. On my 2006 Durango I had to remove the radio's inner plastic cage and cut out most of it with a dremel. All in all it went very well. This product is designed for Chrysler vehicles.
