I needed a box that would fit an old radio. The picture showed it had knockout holes and would work with a radio. Disappointing. Otherwise it seems like a good product but it's useless to me. I was upset that the seller had a wrong picture of the goods, I will not be ordering from them again. Online retailers need to understand that their customers rely on photos to properly represent a product.

I bought two of these. The first one I installed under the dash of my '71 Duster; It installed well and I was able to leave the original AM radio in place. I bought the second one for my '73 Ford Maverick. This car has absolutely NO space under the dash to operate or install a non-original radio! I turned the Metra box upside down, installed the radio inside, and attached it to the ledge on the floorboards; it looks BIG and offers easy access. This is a great item for old restoration projects.

This radio may work well but I am unable to use it. According to the description, it can be converted from double shaft to single DIN. This is correct for the model in the photo, you simply slide the insert plates out from the front. However, the one I received does not have dual shaft inserts. So I put this in the camper because the factory radio didn't work and it was such an odd size that it was hard to find one that fitted the hole So got it I turned the hole into a shelf for the remotes and installed the stereo (which I won in the raffle anyway) under the cabinet, it fits perfectly and looks good too. My only complaint would be that it's fairly flimsy so my mounting sleeve doesn't push on it very hard, but put a piece of foam under the stereo to keep it from moving. If my trailer

This thing does what it promises to do. Can you say the same about yourself? I doubt it. In any case, as great as that sounds, I found that I had to place the PS2 gaming case on the bottom of the tray to keep the head unit at the perfect height and the bezel to stay flush.
